"Behind Blue Sky", a film devised through NYU Steinhardt’s Drama Therapy program, weaves personal and fictionalized narratives to spotlight the relationship between 9/11 and past and present struggles for racial and social justice. And what are the parallels between the lasting scars inflicted on the city 20 years ago and the collective trauma borne from the pandemic and our nation’s reckoning with the need for racial and social justice today?
